The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed in regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim here on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's website no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The company place designed for intervention encounters a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and boost usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
